Friends Filming Fun Films
I filmed with my group today. I drove my group to the filming locations. I picked up one of the members from her house, and it was easy to find. Then the map app on my phone stopped working and told me the destination for the other home was 8 hours away. Then I had to pull over to the side of the road and use another app. I finally made it to the destination, and it only took me 20 minutes. I pulled into the spot and met up with the other group member. I went to a park near her house.
Once the group was together, I sat down and discussed and reviewed the game plan. I started by just sliding down slides and having fun. This was perfect as it gave the authenticity I think the group needed to loosen up and give the video the fun life it needed. Next, I swung on the swings and claimed the play structure. This was pretty embarrassing as it was a public park, and I am a 17-year-old child playing in front of children. None the less I persevered.
I also helped to film because we all took turns. I primarily got the lighting right by checking different angles. Then the couple arrived, and I directed a few shots of them. We had them spinning in circles and walking around holding hands. My group members and I did the same thing. The couple only got a few shots in before they had to go, and so did the other group member. Just like that, the day of filming was complete.
