The Golden Trio
I have always enjoyed films as watching them from the viewer's perspective. My favorite films are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Black Panther. I think these are both timeless cinematic masterpieces. And I believe my group would agree with me on saying that. I initially chose this class because I heard it was an excellent opportunity to work in groups. I love working in groups because I am a natural leader, and I am looking forward to this filming project.
The group and I have been brainstorming a few ideas already. I hope to achieve a movie that exceeds the requirements and has blended transitions and unique scenes with accurate titles. I choose to work with Britanique Simpson and Eden Wright. I met Britanique during my freshmen orientation. She was the first person I talked to in high school. I met Eden in my Spanish class which Britanique and I had together. Britanique introduced me to her as I joined the class late. Eden is a year older than Britanique and me. She helped us acclimate to high school and comfort us in what it was like as freshmen. I will work well with them because we have known each other for three years and have worked well on our two previous projects. I decided on people I knew initially because I wanted to have some comfort with my group.
Now I know that our skill sets complement each other. I personally am good at setting up the shot according to the storyboard. I also was good at making sure the lighting was consistent throughout. I also happen to be good at getting the audio to sound smooth and tuned. Britanique was the best at editing a smoothing out the clips to blend seamlessly. She did great at filming and had steady hands. She was also the best and creating animated logos. Finally, Eden is our creative mind. She was good at costumes and did an excellent storyboard, transcribing our ideas to paper. However, I believe this project will also be a success because the three of us have already overcome many challenges together, and our skills balance each other out nicely.
