The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule but schedule your priorities!

My group struggled with scheduling issues. I have a hectic schedule most days, as do my group members. Trying to find time to film has been a challenge for us. When I would be free, someone else wouldn't, and so on. I am very involved with my school, so I have been doing extracurricular activities after school most days. And one of our group members is a nail technician, so she's had nail appointments the days I have been free. Other days the third group member would not be able to find a ride to get to the filming location. The video also depended on people outside of the class to complete the idea we had in mind. So the group has to work around their schedule the most because they focus on the video idea. They are the siblings of our one group member and their girlfriend. They are both in sports so they have had sports games that have collided with when we can film.

This scheduling problem has forced us to stray slightly from the storyboard. The concept has moved slightly from focusing on a young relationship to nostalgia. The is about trying to remember your first love and when you were young and innocent. So instead of focusing on the love part, my group shifted to remembering when you were young and innocent. I plan on putting a camcorder filter or grainy film to pretend like the video was shot when we were young.

The group finally found a day where we could film. All of us had to clear something on our own personal schedule we had to give up, so it was nice to have to equally compromise. We will start filming soon so the group can have enough time to edit.
